Card Binders

Have you ever wondered what to do with all your cards? Well I've figured it out! You could stuff them in a box or you could make a card binder. This is a great idea to do with your kid's birthday cards, holiday cards, or anniversary cards! I decided to do one for our wedding cards and one for our anniversary/valentines cards. After I started making these I decided I would also do birthday binders.

What you will need:
Small Binders
Hole Punch
Scissors
Paper Cutter
Decorative Paper
Decorative Accents
Glue or Tape

I found these photo mats at Hobby Lobby on clearance for $1.00! You can customize each binder by adding a photo. Since both of these binders involve our wedding or marriage I did them in our wedding colors.

After you have your binders together stack your cards from smallest to largest. I'm actually going to need two binders for our wedding cards.

You can divide your binders by years or events. Just make some cute customized tabs.

For our wedding cards I cut our wedding invitation in half and displayed it on the front. For our anniversary cards I used one of our wedding pictures.

This is something you can have so much with! Be inspired and create!

Halloween Wreath

Welcome Fall! I couldn't be happier that Fall is here. With Fall comes Football, Halloween, Thanksgiving and gives way to my favorite Holiday Christmas! I don't get into all of the spooky Halloween events, but I do  enjoy a good Disney Halloween movie. I have never had a Halloween wreath, but decided to try one out this year. This wreath came in at under $15.00! Thank you Hobby Lobby!

The Wreath

You will need a wreath frame, floral wire or pipe cleaner, deco mesh ribbon, decorative ribbon, and some decorative objects. I also used a hot glue gun toward the end. Everything came from Hobby Lobby except the Pumpkin. He came from Wal-Mart.

Make sure you get the wire with the cutter. This was a great help!

Use your floral wire to attach the deco mesh around the frame. Make sure you use the whole roll if you want  it to be full.

Once you have the deco mesh attached, intertwine your decorative ribbon.

If you are using an object covered in glitter, tape will not adhere. I ran two pieces of floral wire horizontally and vertically to the frame.

I hot glued a piece of small cardboard to the pumpkin.

Next, I hot glued the wire to the cardboard. It's not pretty, but you can attach another piece of cardboard over the wire if you would like.

Then I hot glued a little witches hat.

And added a bow. I wanted my pumpkin to look nice.

And here it is all finished! Be inspired and create!

Weekly Fashion Obsessions

Here are my current obsessions! I've been in an accessories mood, but I did find one outfit I'm in love with.

Why I love: Scarf! The details on this scarf are amazing! Source unknown.

Why I love: Great with leggings and a big slouchy sweater. This has fall written all over it! These are by Steve Madden.

Why I love: Cute pattern simple style. These are from Wetseal.

Why I love: This outfit is amazing! I love the over sized "sweater" dress with the scarf. The colors are beautiful! Source Unknown.

Why I love: This necklace is everywhere and at Sammoon.com It's only $9.99! It's not quite as long as the real bubble necklace but a simple chain extender will fix that problem.

Why I love: White is an easy color to accessorize with various outfits. I love the double layer necklace. Also from Sammoon.com and only $12.99!

My Wedding Contributions

This is my last post about the wedding, but I wanted to share my contributions. I was very excited to be able to design the save the dates, invitations, programs and to make the candle favors! The primary colors for the wedding were light blue, champagne, and black. I like to refer to it as simple elegance. I removed all the names just to keep things private.

Save the Dates

Invitation
A little jewel was added to the center of the flourish.

Programs
Like the invitations two little jewels were added to the center of both flourishes.

Candles
We made two scents, one called "Forever After" and the other was "Wedding Cake".

This sums up my wedding talk. Be inspired and create!
